REGULAR MEETING MAY 11, 1970 ORDINANCES THIRD READING ORDINANCE NO. 5181 -70 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ORDINANCE 4990 - CHAPTER 40 OF MUNICIPAL CODE (Formerly Zoning Ordinance 3702). AS AMENDED. (1/4 mi. So. of Jackson Rd. Near York Road) The Ordinance was given third reading. Councilman Grounds made a motion for passage of the Ordinance. Councilman Zielinski seconded the motion. There being no discussion on the motion, the Ordinance was passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes (Councilmen Laven, Allen, Reinke, Craven, Grounds, Szymkowiak, Palmer and Zielinski) 0 nays, 1 absent (Councilman Wise). ORDINANCE NO. 5182 -70 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ORDINANCE 4990 - CHAPTER 40 OF MUNICIPAL CODE (Formerly Zoning Ordinance 3702). AS AMENDED. (1/8 Section North of Topsfield and East of Ironwood) The Ordinance was given third reading. Councilman Allen made a motion for passage of the Ordinance. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. There being no discussion on the motion, the Ordinance was passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes (Councilmen Laven, Allen, Reinke, Craven, Grounds, Szymkowiak, Palmer and Zielinski) 0 nays, 1 absent (Councilman Wise). ORDINANCE NO. 5183 -70 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ORDINANCE 4990 - CHAPTER 40 OF MUNICIPAL CODE (Formerly Zoning Ordinance 3702) AS AMENDED. (East Side of Ironwood, Topsfield Addition) The Ordinance was given third reading. Councilman Grounds made a motion for passage of the Ordinance. Councilman Zielinski seconded the motion. ORDINANCE NO. 5184 -70 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ORDINANCE 4990 - CHAPTER 40 OF MUNICIPAL CODE (Formerly Zoning Ordinance 3702) AS AMENDED. (East Side of York Road and North of Kern Road). The Ordinance was given third reading. Councilman Allen made a motion for passage of the Ordinance. Councilman Zielinski seconded the motion. There being no discussion on the motion, the Ordinance was passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes (Councilmen Laven, Allen, Reinke, Craven, Grounds, Szymkowiak, Palmer and Zielinski) 0 nays, 1 absent (Councilman Wise). ORDINANCE REFERRED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA - 1962 SECTION 40 AS AMENDED AND GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AND THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND. (59800 Miami Rd., Corner of Miami and Wideners Lane) The Ordinance was referred'to the Area Plan Commission. See page 358. ORDINANCE CONTINUED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA - 1962 SECTION 40 AS AMENDED AND GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68, AND THE ACCOMPANYING MAP THERETO, GENERALLY KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND ZONING ORDINANCE BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE USE DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND. (Lincoln Way West and Chicago Street) The Council portion of the Public Hearing was continued until May 25, 1970. See page 359.
