REPORT FROM AREA PLAN COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council October 22, 1969 City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Location: Portage Ave. /Maple Rd., Indiana Toll Rd. Gentlemen: The attached rezoning petition of Virgil A. Place, etal, was legally advertised under date of August 9 and 16 and given public hearing on August 19, 1969 at which time the Commission tabled the petition for receipt of further information. On September 16, 1969 it was determined that the petition would have to be readvertised. The final legal advertisement was run on October 11 and 18 and an additional hearing was held on October 21, 1969. The following action was taken: After detailed consideration of the photographs and architectural elevations sub- mitted, it was moved, seconded, and carried that the ordinance and site development plan be recommended favorably to the Common Council. REPORT FROM AREA PLAN COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council City Hall South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: Location: McKinley & Hickory Rds. 8 acres Ayr -way Store The attached ordinance originated by the Area Plan Commission, covering the property in the 3400 block of McKinley Highway, was legally advertised under date of October 11 and 18 and given public hearing on October 21, 1969. The following action was taken: After due consideration it was moved, seconded, and carried that the ordinance,subject to the limitations of the attached drawing, be recommended favorably to the Common Council. The property sought to be rezoned is located at: 1114 Mayflower Road. 2. The property is owned by: William A. Ferency and Gleason Owens. 3.
