5 REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 13, 1969 REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred „ AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT L -323, "TIRES AND TUBES” IN THE AMOUNT OF $150.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM ACCOUNT L -722, "MOTOR EQUIPMENT ", IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND, respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ William W. Grounds Chairman There being no objections, the report was accepted as read and placed on file. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO ACCOUNT B -242, "PUBLICATION OF LEGAL NOTICES ", IN THE OFFICE OF CITY CONTROLLER" respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ William W. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, WHICH IS COMMONLY DESCRIBED AS WHITCOMB & ICELLER'S APARTMENT COMPLEX; respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ William W. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Cnuncil of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS LYING NORTH OF DOUGLAS ROAD, WEST OF MAPLE ROAD AND SOUTH OF THE NORTHERN INDIANA TOLL ROAD," respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Public.Hearing on this Ordinance be postponed until October 27, 1969. /s/ William W. Grounds Chairman There being no objections, the report was accepted as read and placed on file. (ORDINANCES, THIRD READING ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE BURNING OF REFUSE AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. Third reading of this Ordinance was not given. The Ordinance was re- committed to the Ordinance 'Committee and a report will'be siabmitted,on November 10, 1969,to the Council. The Ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 9 ayes, (Councilmen Laven, Allen, Craven, Grounds, Palmer, Reinke, Szymkowiak, Wise and Zielinski) 0 nays.
