REGULAR MEETING MAY 26, 1969 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 212 -69 <br />WHEREAS, GOD in His Infinite Wisdom, has called from this life, <br />MRS. KATHRYN FANNER, Mother of Kathryn L. Blough, <br />South Bend City Clerk, <br />WHEREAS, her untimely death has brought much grief and sorrow <br />to her bereaved family and many friends, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the members of the <br />Common Council, hereby extend to Kathryn L. Blough, <br />and to the other members of the family, our sincere <br />sympathy in this their deepest hour of sorrow; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a page be set aside in the <br />Council Records in the City of South Bend and this <br />Resolution be copied thereon and a copy be signed <br />by Mayor Lloyd M. ALLEN, MAYOR <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />The Council unanimously adopted the resolution and it was placed on file. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS - None <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />President Laven announced that South Bend City Clerk, Kathryn L. Blough was re- elected to <br />a three year term as Director of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks on May 21, 1969, <br />when she attended the convention held in the Chase Park Plaza Hotel, St. Louis, Missouri. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Allen made a motion to <br />adjourn.
