641_ <br />GULAR MEETING - RECONVENED (CONTINUED) <br />Mr. Robert Parker, Chief Deputy City Attorney, explained to the Council the $3,000 figure to be <br />paid to Landmark, Inc., in addition to the $160,000 figure for the purchase of the land for the <br />Marion Street connector. He stated that the $3,000 amount would cover monies expended by the <br />corporation in the proposed development of the land which was done prior to the city making negotia <br />tions for purchase of the land, such as site development plans, engineering plans, a survey, lease <br />negotiations with Rustler Steak House, financing arrangements for the purchase of the land, <br />engineering plans and feasibility studies and various public body hearings such as the Public <br />Transportation Corporation and Area.Plan Commission. He mentioned that two of the appraisals for <br />the property had been $160,000, while the third appraisal had been between $160,000 and $170,000. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, Councilman <br />Kopczynski made a motion that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Taylor.
