<br />This ordinance had first reading. Council President Nemeth wondered how long a period of time
<br />would elapse before the city received the equipment, and Mr. Rollin Farrand, Director of the
<br />Department of Public Works, stated that there would be a delay in receiving the equipment. There
<br />was a brief discussion on when the ordinance should be set for public hearing. Councilman Kopczyns
<br />made a motion to refer the ordinance to the Public Works Committee, seconded by Councilman Taylor.
<br />The motion carried.

<br />GRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF
<br />SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF
<br />PUBLIC WORKS.
<br />This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Taylor made a motion to refer the ordinance to the
<br />Public Works Committee, seconded by Councilman Parent. The motion carried.

<br />:ontroller, requested that the Council strike the previous ordinance filed appropriating $563,000.
