REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 17, 1973 <br />REGULAR MEETING - RECONVENED (CONTINUED) <br />President Nemeth explained that the South Bend Development Commission had approved the resolution <br />and, by adoption of the resolution by the Council, the Council was ratifying the resolution and <br />giving approval of the financing arrangements for American Chain & Cable Company. He indicated <br />that the building was located on Walnut Street and would be given up by Bendix Corporation within <br />a few months. He concluded that the firm would probably be out with a press release on the <br />project. <br />Councilman Serge talked about the vandalism done to the light poles at Boland Park. City Attorney <br />Roemer indicated that he, too, felt strongly about the matter. He indicated that he had contacted <br />the FBI to enter the investigation because revenue sharing funds were used on the project. He <br />stated that the matter was still under investigation. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, Councilman Taylor <br />made a motion that the Council adjourn, seconded by Councilman Serge.
