<br />ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4990 -68,
<br />AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING
<br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
<br />(CHAPTER 40, MUNICIPAL CODE - 3027 MCKINLEY
<br />AVENUE) .
<br />This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Taylor made a motion that the ordinance be set for
<br />public hearing and second reading on April 30, 1973, seconded by Councilman Miller. The motion
<br />carried. (Motion was later reconsidered, and it was moved by Councilman Taylor, seconded by
<br />Councilman Kopczynski, that the ordinance be referred to the Area Plan Commission, and carried.)
<br />ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF
<br />CHARGES FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY THE
<br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OF THE CITY OF
<br />SOUTH BEND FOR THE TREATMENT OF SEPTIC TANK
<br />DUMPINGS.
<br />This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Miller made a motion that the ordinance be set for
<br />public hearing and second reading on April 30, 1973, seconded by Councilman Taylor. The motion
<br />carried. (Motion was later reconsidered, and it was moved by Councilman Kopczynski, seconded by
<br />Councilman Parent, that the ordinance be set for public hearing and second reading on April 23,
<br />1973, and carried.)
<br />ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $110,801.00 FROM
<br />THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND, COMMONLY
<br />REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR
<br />A HUMAN RESOURCES PROGRAM FOCUSED ON DRUG
<br />ABUSE, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF
<br />SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN
<br />RESOURCES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.
<br />This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Taylor made a motion that the ordinance be set for
<br />public hearing and second reading on April 23, 1973, seconded by Councilman Kopczynski. The
<br />motion carried.
<br />ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $825,000.00 FROM
<br />THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND AND $275,000.00
<br />FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING AND SINKING
<br />FUND FOR PROJECT R & S 48 - CONTRACT NO. 2 -
<br />IRELAND ROAD FROM YORK ROAD TO IRONWOOD ROAD
<br />AND IRONWOOD ROAD FROM IRELAND ROAD TO 1500
<br />FEET NORTH.
<br />This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Horvath made a motion that the ordinance be set for
<br />public hearing and second reading on April 30, 1973, seconded by Councilman Kopczynski. The
<br />motion carried. (Motion was later reconsidered, and it was moved by Councilman Kopczynski,
<br />seconded by Councilman Parent, that the ordinance be set for public hearing and second reading on
<br />April 23, 1973, and carried.)
<br />At this time, it was moved by Councilman Taylor, seconded by Councilman Kopczynski, that the
<br />ordinance to rezone property at 3027 McKinley Avenue, be referred to the Area Plan Commission,
<br />on the recommendation of Councilman Miller. The motion carried.
<br />ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN
<br />THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF
<br />$3,361.07 FROM ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL"
<br />TO A NEW ACCOUNT BEING ESTABLISHED FOR THIS
<br />PURPOSE, Q -53, "REFUNDS, AWARDS AND INDEMNITIES ",
<br />BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
<br />This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the ordinance be set
<br />for public hearing and second reading on April 23, 1973, seconded by Councilman Parent. The
<br />motion carried.
<br />ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
<br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $140.00 FROM THE BUILDING
<br />DEPARTMENT, M -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL" TO THE
<br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT, M -55, "SUBSCRIPTIONS AND
<br />DUES ", BOTH ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE BUILDING
<br />DEPARTMENT OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND.
<br />This ordinance had -first reading. Councilman Taylor made a motion that the ordinance be set for
<br />public hearing and second reading on April 30, 1973, seconded by Councilman Horvath. The motion
<br />carried. (Motion was later reconsidered, and it was moved by Councilman Kopczynski, seconded by

<br />BEND, INDIANA, 1971, BY THE ADDITION OF A
<br />NEW SECTION, SECTION 20 -58.1 FOR THE DIS-
<br />POSITION OF NON - MOVING TRAFFIC VIOLATION FEES.
<br />This ordinance had first reading. Councilman Horvath made a motion that the ordinance be set for
<br />public hearing and second reading on April 30, 1973, seconded by Councilman Miller. The motion
