JANUARY 22, 1973
UNFINISHED BUSINESS (CONTINUED)
Councilman Taylor indicated that he had received a quarterly review of the Department of
Resources and Economic Development. He complimented Mr. John Kromkowski on the work he has done
on various projects. He also indicated that he felt the Council should request about a five -
minute report from various department heads in order to keep the public informed. He mentioned
that this had been talked about previously but nothing had been done on the matter. Councilman
Miller indicated that the Council had received a report from the Engineering Department. Mr.
Kromkowski indicated that he would bring the Council up to date at the next meeting as he felt
there were a number of items that have public interest. He indicated, however, that he did not
want to be redundant and for that reason, he had submitted a quarterly report. Councilman Nemeth
suggested that perhaps at each Council meeting, a different department head should be requested-
to give a brief report on activities within his or her department. He also complimented Mr.
Kromkowski on the quarterly report and indicated that the Council appreciated this. Mr.
Kromkowski indicated that he felt credit should be given to Mr. Karl King rather than himself as
the industrial revenue bonds development was under his direction.
