Sales and <br />Service, Inc. to zone from "A" Residential, "A" Height and Area to "C" <br />Commercial, property located at 413 N. Sommers St. <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached rezoning petition of Hoffman Bros. Motion carried. <br />REPORT FROM AREA PLAN COMMISSION <br />m <br />August 23, 1972 " <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />County -City Building <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />In Re: A proposed ordinance amending Ordinance No. 4990 -68 to zone the <br />Central Downtown Business District in accordance with the Downtown <br />Urban Renewal Project. <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached rezoning petition of the'Department of Redevelopment was legally <br />advertised August 5, and August 12, 1972. The Area Plan Commission gave it public <br />hearing August 15, 1972 at which time the following action was - taken: <br />"Upon motion by William Richardson being seconded by Joseph Simeri and <br />unanimously carried, the matter of the zoning for the Central Business <br />District is returned to the Common Council with a favorable recommenda- <br />tion as the Area Plan Commission finds it to be consistent with the Land <br />Use and Transportation Plan and the Downtown Urban Renewal Program." <br />1 <br />1 <br />
