Ms. Kathy Baumgartner, Director <br />of the Bureau of Housing, indicated that Resolution No. 789 -80 was to replace the roof of the <br />YWCA. Council Member Dombrowski indicated that he objected to this money being spent on the <br />"Y ". He indicated they could get funds from other sources. He made a motion to table this <br />resolution. The motion failed for lack of a second. Council Member Szymkowiak made a motion <br />to adopt this resolution, seconded by Council Member Serge. The resolution was adopted by a <br />roll call vote of eight ayes and one nay (Council Member Dombrowski.) Mrs. Baumgartner indicat <br />that Resolution No. 790 -80 should be amended to indicate the contract was with South Bend <br />Homeowners of the Near North West, instead of Renew. Council Member Beck made a motion to <br />amend the resolution, seconded by Council Member Taylor. The motion carried. Council Member <br />Serge made a motion to adopt the bill, as amended, seconded by Council Member Beck. The <br />resolution was adopted by a roll call vote of nine ayes. Council Member Beck made a motion <br />to adopt Resolution No. 791 -80, seconded by Council Member Taylor.
