No. 125-047 <br />Western Avenue Transformation District <br />DATE: July 21, 2026 <br /> <br />On July 14, 2026, the Board of Public Works opened bids for the Western Avenue <br />Transformation District project. The project consists of performing work on property owned by <br />the Housing Authority of South Bend. <br /> <br />The City is requesting that the Board of Public Works approve the attached access agreement <br />in which the Housing Authority of South Bend is granting the City access to the property to <br />complete the construction work, including installation of a new road, utilities, parking lots, <br />underground stormwater storage, sidewalks, and any other construction related construction to <br />complete the project. <br />
