REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 27 1976 <br />REGULAR MEETING (RECONVENED) <br />"Upon a motion by Thomas Allen, being seconded by Kenneth Woods, and unanimously <br />carried, the peition of Elmer and Fern Graber, to zone from "A Residential, "A" <br />Height and Area, to "C" Commercial, "A" Height and Area, property located at the <br />Northwest corner of Michigan Street and Walter Street, City of South Bend, is <br />returned to the City Council with a favorable recommendation, subject to the fol- <br />lowing: <br />1. The approval of the access system onto U. S. 31 by the Curb Cut Committee. <br />2. A final site plan." <br />The above recommendation is made subject to a final site plan and the preliminary site plan <br />is attached hereto. <br />The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and points considered in arriving at the above <br />decision are shown in minutes of the public hearing and will be forwarded to you at a later date <br />to be made a part of this report. Muia, to zone <br />from "A" Residential, "C -1" Commercial and "C" Commercial, "A" and "E" <br />Height and Area, to "C" Commercial, "F" Height and Area, property located <br />on the northwest corner of Ironwood Drive and Calvert Street, City of South <br />Bend. <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached rezoning petition of Eugene C. Muia was legally advertised on September 11, 197 <br />The Area Plan Commission gave it a public hearing on September 21, 1976, at which time the follow <br />ing action was taken: <br />"Upon a motion by Richard Larrison, being seconded by Joseph Serge and <br />unanimously carried, the petition of Eugene C. Muia, to zone from "A" <br />Residential, "C -1" Commercial and "C" Commercial, "A" and "E" Height and <br />Area, to "C" Commercial, "F" Height and Area, property located on the <br />northwest corner of Ironwood Drive and Calvert Street, City of South Bend, <br />is returned to the Common Council with a favorable recommendation, subject <br />to the following: <br />1. The vacation of the alley that is currently upon the site. <br />2. The dedication of additional right -of -way opposite the "T" <br />intersection alley and the dedication for additional five <br />feet right -of -way along Ireland Road by replat prior to <br />the submittal of a final site plan. <br />3.
