r- REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 23, 1976 REGULAR MEETING - RECONVENED (CONTINUED) UNFINISHED BUSINESS Council Member Horvath made a motion to strike the resolution in committee on the Olive - Sample Overpass, seconded by Council Member Miller. The motion carried on a roll call vote of seven ayes (Council Members Serge, Miller, Taylor, Adams, Dombrowski, Horvath and Parent) and two nays ,(Council Members Szymkowiak and Kopczynski). NEW BUSINESS Council Member Miller made a motion to sell City - owned property located at 711 LaPorte Avenue, 720 E.Wenger. St., 413 E. Ohio St., 748 Diamond Ave., 1221 Grace St., and 814 Forest Ave., seconded-'-by Council Member Kopczynski. The motion carried. Council Member Serge indicated he thought the Council should contact in writing the Public Servic Commission to review the Angela- Riverside Railroad trestle crossing. He said last week's incident at this location dramatizes the need for immediate installation of automatic train- activated warning signals. He indicated the cost would be allocated between the public and the railroad for the equipment, operation and maintenance. The Council attorney indicated she would handle the writing of this letter. Council Member Adams indicated she had received several calls regarding the zoo and she would li} to have Mr. Seitz, the Park Superintendent, attend the September 13, 1976, meeting and give a report on the condition of the zoo. Council President Parent instructed the City Clerk's office to write a letter to Mr. Seitz informing him that the Council would like a report on the zoo at the September 13, 1976 meeting. There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, Council Member Adams made ,a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member Dombrowski.
