Kennedy Councilman Miller made a motion to set the ordinance referred to in the report for public hearing and second reading on October 6, 1975, seconded by Councilman Szymkowiak. The motion carried. REPORT FROM THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE Council President Parent indicated that it had been decided to cancel the report. ORDINANCES, SECOND READING ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE RECEIVING AND CONVEYING OF A GIFT OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Newburn made a motion to strike the ordinance from the files, seconded by Councilman Taylor. The motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 5886 -75 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FORM AND TERMS OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT AND INDENTURE OF TRUST AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF PERTAINING TO ERGO INSTRUMENTS, INC. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Taylor made a motion to pass the ordinance, seconder by Councilman Horvath. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Horvath, Nemeth, Newburn and Parent) with Councilman Kopczynski absent, ORDINANCE NO. 5887 -75 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FORM AND TERMS OF LEASE AND TRUST INDENTURE AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF PERTAINING TO SIBLEY MACHINE & FOUNDRY CORPORATION. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Newburn made a motion to pass the ordinance, seconded by Councilman Szymkowiak. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Horvath, Nemeth, Newburn and Parent) with Councilmai Kopczynski absent. ORDINANCE NO. 5888 -75 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND CREATING A BOARD OF MANAGERS TO BE KNOWN AS THE SOUTH BEND CIVIC CENTER BOARD OF MANAGERS. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Miller made a motion to pass the ordinance, seconder by Councilman Taylor. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Horvath, Nemeth, Newburn and Parent) with Councilman Kopczynski absent, ORDINANCE NO. 5889 -75 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,200.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PARK DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC PARKS. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Serge made a motion to pass the ordinance, seconded by Councilman Newburn. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Horvath, Nemeth, Newburn and Parent) with Councilman Kopczynski absent ORDINANCE NO. 5890 -75 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $8,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING, FOR VARIOUS PARK DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC PARKS. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Taylor made a motion to amend the ordinance as amended in the Committee of the Whole, seconded by Councilman Nemeth. The motion carried. Councilman Taylor then made a motion to pass the ordinance, as amended, seconded by Councilman Szymkowiak. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Horvath, Nemeth, Newburn and Parent) with Councilman Kopczynski absent. ORDINANCE NO. 5891 -75 AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $85,000.00 BETWEEN VARIOUS ACCOUNTS IN THE BUREAU OF VEHICLE MAINTENANCE, ALL ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND, CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Newburn made a motion to pass the ordinance, seconded by Councilman Horvath. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of eight ayes (Councilmen Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Taylor, Horvath, Nemeth, Newburn and Parent) with Councilman Kopczynski absent.
