The property sought to be rezoned is located at the intersection of the <br />1700 block of North Cushing Street and the 800 block of West Beale Street; <br />specifically, the southwest corner. <br />2. The property is owned by Sam Mercantini, 11825 River Drive, Mishawaka, <br />Indiana. <br />3. A legal description of the property is as follows: <br />Lot Numbered Two Hundred Forty -five (245) as shown on the recorded <br />Plat of Northwest Addition, in St. Joseph County, Indiana. <br />4. It is desired and requested that the foregoing property be rezoned from <br />"A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to "B" Residential <br />Use and "A" Height and Area District. <br />5. It is proposed that the property will be put to the following use and the <br />following building(s) will be constructed: the construction of two buildings <br />containing sixteen (16) dwelling units. <br />6. Number of off - street parking spaces to be provided: 32. <br />7. Councilman Newburn made a motion that the ordinance pass, <br />seconded by Councilman Taylor. The ordinance passed by a roll call vote of nine ayes (Councilmen <br />Serge, Szymkowiak, Miller, Parent, Taylor, Kopczynski, Horvath, Newburn and Nemeth). <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5704 -74 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $8,400.00 <br />FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 110.0, "SERVICES <br />PERSONAL ", TO ACCOUNT NUMBER 726.0, <br />"OTHER EQUIPMENT ", BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING <br />WITHIN THE REVENUE SHARING "SUMMER <br />RECREATION PROGRAM" OF THE REVENUE <br />SHARING TRUST FUND OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />This ordinance had second reading. Councilman Serge made a motion that the ordinance pass, <br />seconded by Councilman Horvath.
