CITY OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING – May 28, 2026 <br /> <br />Page | 4 <br /> <br /> <br />Upon a motion by Ophelia Gooden-Rodgers for approval, seconded by <br />Eli Wax, the motion carried unanimously; the Commission approved the <br />Budget Request as presented on May 28, 2026. <br /> <br />C. Administrative <br />1. Resolution No. 3671 (Determining Tax Increment Collected 2027) <br />Erik Glavich, Director of Growth and Opportunity, presented the annual <br />resolution required by the state to notify the county auditor and taxing <br />districts of excess TIF allocation status by June 15. The Resolution is <br />consistent with prior years but updated to include new allocation areas <br />created through the Riverfront West project. The notification confirms <br />there is no excess TIF value to distribute, as funds are committed to <br />ongoing redevelopment projects. <br /> <br />President Relos asked to clarify if this is a state requirement and <br />Danielle Campbell Weiss, Senior Asst. City Attorney confirmed that it is. <br /> <br />Upon a motion by Dave Relos for approval, seconded by Gillian Shaw, <br />the motion carried unanimously; the Commission approved Resolution <br />No. 3671 as presented on May 28, 2026. <br /> <br />6.
