Background Data: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Effective Date of Owner-Engineer Agreement: <br /> <br />December 16, 2025 <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Owner: <br /> <br />City of South Bend, Board of Public Works <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Engineer: <br /> <br />Alliance Architects, Inc. <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />Project: <br /> <br />Division of Streets, Locker Expansion and Renovation <br /> <br />2. Description of Modifications: <br />a. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in <br />accordance with the Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. Provide professional design services consisting of design development <br />through construction administration of approved schematic design “Plan <br />Option 1A”. Services shall include architectural and engineering design as <br />required to create pricing and construction documents. Services shall also be <br />provided to administer the construction contract on behalf of the Owner. <br /> <br />b. For the modifications to services set forth above, Owner shall pay Engineer the <br />following additional or modified compensation: <br /> <br />1. An additional Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00), with 30% for Design <br />Development, 40% for Construction Documents, 5% for Bidding/Pricing, and <br />25% for Construction Administration. <br /> <br />c. The schedule for rendering services is modified as follows: <br /> <br />1. Completion of design services by May 31, 2026. Completion of construction <br />administration services will be dependent upon the Contractor’s schedule but <br />assumed to be completed on or around September 1, 2026. <br /> <br />3. Agreement Summary (Reference only) <br /> a. Original Agreement amount: $5,000.00 <br /> b. Net change for prior amendments: - <br /> c. This amendment amount: $11,000.00 <br /> d. Adjusted Agreement amount: $16,000.00
