Page 1 of 1 <br />INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br />TO: Hillary Horvath, Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Charlotte Brach, Assistant City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Change Order No. 2 - Project No. 121-067 <br />Riverfront West Urban Neighborhood Infrastructure Improvements <br />DATE: April 28, 2026 <br />On September 18, 2025, the Board of Public Works entered into an agreement with C&E <br />Excavating, Inc. to perform necessary infrastructure improvements to the Riverfront West Urban <br />Neighborhood area. On April 14, 2026, the Board of Public Works approved a change order for <br />$522,000 and time extensions for Milestones 1, 2, and 5. <br />The City is now requesting that the Board of Public Works approve the following requested <br />changes to the contract: <br />Revised completion date for Milestone 3 shall now be July 31, 2027. Revised completion date <br />for Milestone 4 shall now be October 31, 2027. With these revisions, the milestone completion <br />dates shall now be as follows: <br />•Milestones 1&2: February 1, 2027 <br />•Milestone 3: July 31, 2027 <br />•Milestone 4: October 31, 2027 <br />•Milestone 5: November 30, 2027 <br />April 28, 2026
