Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br />TO: Hillary Horvath, Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Zach Hurst, PE, Sr. Project Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Award Quote - Project No. 125-021C <br />Milkweed Commons Utility Hookups <br />DATE: 04/28/2026 <br />On April 28, 2026, the Board of Public Works opened and read quotes for the above project, <br />located at the 500 block of South Michigan Street. <br /> <br />The scope of work is to perform water and sewer hookups for the former Hope Ministries <br />Building, the Monarch Building, and a future public restroom. <br /> <br />Three quotes were solicited: <br /> <br />Contractor: Base Quote <br />Indiana Earth $189,940 <br />R&R Excavating No Quote <br />Robert Henry Corp. No Quote <br /> <br />The low quote from Indiana Earth is complete and responsive. The quote met both the M/WBE <br />goals. <br /> <br />I recommend award of the Base Quote for Milkweed Commons Utility Hookups to Indiana <br />Earth, in the amount of $189,940. Funding is available through PR-00047527. <br />
