REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 2, 1985 <br />WHEREAS, certain unforeseen conditions have development since the adoption of <br />the existing operating budget, it is now necessary to decrease said budget to meet <br />these unforeseen conditions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana as follows: <br />SECTION I. Michael Vance, <br />Controller, indicated unforeseen circumstances since the approval of the 1985 <br />budgets have occurred which result in the need to reduce expenditures. Council <br />Member Voorde made a motion to adopt this resolution, seconded by Council member <br />Serge. The resolution was adopted by a roll call vote of eight ayes. <br />BILLS, FIRST READING <br />BILL NO. 160 -85 A BILL AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (THE "CITY "), <br />TO ISSUE ITS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1985 <br />(INDUSTRIAL FUELS AND RESOURCES, INC., PROJECT), IN THE AGGREGATE <br />PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF APPROXIMATELY SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND <br />DOLLARS ($750,000.00) AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN <br />ACTIONS WITH RESPECT THERETO. <br />
