REGULAR MEETING MAY 28, 1985 There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Council Member Beck made a motion to rise and report to the Council, seconded by Council Member Taylor. The motion carried. BILLS, SECOND READING ORDINANCE NO. 7461 -85 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (THE "CITY "), TO ISSUE ITS "ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BOND, SERIES 1985 (3300 SAMPLE STREET ASSOCIATES, AN INDIANA PARTNERSHIP PROJECT), IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION DOLLARS ($2,000,000.00) AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN ACTIONS WITH RESPECT THERETO. This bill had second reading. Council Member Taylor made a motion to amend this bill, as amended, in the Committee of the Whole, seconded by Council Member Zakrzewski. The motion carried. MITTLER D /B /A T.A.N.K.S, PROJECT), IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,250,000.00) AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN ACTIONS WITH RESPECT THERETO. PROJECT), IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($400,000.00) AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN ACTIONS WITH RESPECT THERETO. This bill had second reading. Council Member Serge made a motion to pass this bill, seconded by Council Member Taylor. The bill passed by a roll call vote of nine ayes. ORDINANCE NO. 7464 -85 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN CONNECTION WITH CERTAIN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE INNER -CORE AND OTHER AREAS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. This bill had second reading. Council Member Taylor made a motion to amend this bill, as amended, in the Committee of the Whole, seconded by Council Member Puzzello. The motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 7465 -85 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $125,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN CONNECTION WITH CERTAIN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE INNER -CORE AREA OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. ORDINANCE NO. 7466 -85 AN ORDINANCE DECREASING THE 1985 BUDGET OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND IN VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE GENERAL FUND AND PARK FUND. This bill had second reading. Council Member Braboy made a motion to pass this bill, seconded by Council Member Taylor. The bill passed by a roll call vote of nine ayes. ORDINANCE NO. 7467 -85 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A NONREVERTING "EAST BANK TRAIL FUND ". This bill had second reading.
