East Res. <br />* Funds are subject to the City Controller's determination of availability; if funds are unavailable, as solely determined by the City Controller, then the <br />authorization of the expenditure of such funds shall be void and of no effect. <br /> <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Public Opening of Former Singer Manufacturing Building Request for Proposal <br />Submissions <br /> <br />SPECIFICS: On June 26th 2025 the Redevelopment Commission approved a Request for Proposal (RFP) that <br />outlined the desire for the building to be completely rehabilitated while incorporating the existing childcare <br />tenant space by a future developer. The building is approximately 60,000 square feet and located on 3.39 acres <br />along the St. Joseph River.
