DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIVISION OF ENGINEERING <br />1Sfi5 <br />TO: Hillary Horvath, Clerk <br />Board of Public Works <br />FROM: Zach Hurst, PE, Sr. Project Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Reject Bids - Project No. 125-021A <br />Monroe Street Arts Building Roof Replacement <br />DATE: 07/30/2025 <br />On July 22, 2025, the Board of Public Works opened and read bids for the above project. <br />The scope of work is roof replacement for the Monroe Street Arts Building located at the <br />northwest corner of the Monroe and Michigan Street intersection. An alternate bid item for <br />added coverboard underneath the new PVC roofing is also included. <br />Three bids were received: <br />Contractor: <br />Base Bid <br />Alternate 1 <br />TOTAL <br />Wolf Commercial Roofing <br />$507,710 <br />$84,920 <br />$592,630 <br />Slatile Roofing and Sheet Metal <br />$541,812 <br />$84,000 <br />$625,812 <br />Dudeck Roofing and Sheet Metal <br />$558,510 <br />$58,675 <br />$617,815 <br />The project has $350,000 in TIF funding available.
