East Res. <br />* Funds are subject to the City Controller's determination of availability; if funds are unavailable, as solely determined by the City Controller, then the <br />authorization of the expenditure of such funds shall be void and of no effect. <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Staff will make a formal recommendation on the Main Street Housing RFP Proposals <br />SPECIFICS: On January 9, 2025, the Redevelopment Commission (RDC) approved a Request for Proposal (RFP) for <br />a new housing project in downtown South Bend adjacent to the Morris Performing Arts Center. All submissions <br />were opened publicly at the May 8, 2025, RDC meeting. At that meeting, two proposals were submitted, one by <br />Seven Diamonds and one by Flaherty & Collins.
