JeƯerson Blvd. <br />South Bend, In 46601 <br /> <br /> RE: Approval Request for SoƯit Replacement at Fire Station 2 <br /> <br />The purpose of this memorandum is to seek approval from the Board of Public Works for the soƯit <br />replacement project at Fire Station 2. The project involves the removal and replacement of the so Ưit <br />material along the exterior porch to facilitate the repair of the dry fire suppression system. To <br />ensure the selection of a qualified contractor, quotes were solicited from three companies. The <br />responses received are as follows: <br /> <br />1. Vera Construction: Provided the lowest and most responsive quote, attached for reference. <br />2. R Yoder Construction: Submitted a quote, which is attached for reference. <br />3. Cruz LLC: Did not respond to the request for a quote. <br /> <br />Based on the quotes received, Vera Construction has been identified as the lowest responsive <br />quoter. Their proposal meets the project requirements and ensures coordination with Ryan Fire <br />Protection during the soƯit replacement process. <br /> <br />I respectfully request the Board of Public Works to approve the quote from Vera Construction for <br />the soƯit replacement at Fire Station 2 at the next meeting.
