All rights reserved. <br /> <br />This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 6 pages, referred to in <br />and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer <br />for Professional Services dated June 10, 2025. <br />Engineer’s Services <br /> <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br /> <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br /> <br />PART 1 – BASIC SERVICES <br />A1.01 Study and Report Phase <br />A. Engineer shall: <br />1. Perform surveying of the existing roadway and design a new crowned roadway with <br />shoulder. Survey should include the following: <br />a. Establish horizontal control (Indiana State Plane East) <br />b. Establish vertical control (1988 Datum) <br />1) Set a minimum of 3 temporary benchmarks on site to be used during construction <br /> <br />c. Select topographic survey (50-foot grid) and 15-foot overlap topographic survey <br />(1,800’) <br />1) Show spot elevations to the nearest 0.01 foot <br />2) Provide the location, size and elevation of all improvements within the survey <br />limits <br />3) Plot the location of storm drainage structures, sanitary structures, roads, driveways, <br />edges of curbs, parking areas, walks, water’s edge of ponds (if available), drainage <br />ways, fencing, etc. <br />4) Provide the location and size of individual trees inside and outside of wooded areas <br />larger than 12” DBH within the survey limits and along boundary lines <br /> <br />d. Provide location, size, depth, material and direction of flow for sanitary and storm <br />sewers serving or on the site plus one structure upstream and downstream of the survey <br />limits <br />e. Locate aboveground evidence of utilities on site, plus marks made on the ground by <br />local utility companies (One Call). One Call will only locate utilities within the public <br />right-of-way or within recorded easements. <br />f. CAD Drafting and creation of a TIN and contours (1-foot contour interval) <br />g. Land Surveyor review and deed/parcel plot based on research obtained from St. Joseph <br />County Records along with easements and setbacks per the recorded plat
