REVOCATION OF PREVIOUS OPTION AND GIVING AND ACCEPTANCE OF OPTION IN LIEU THEREOF The option to purchase certain real estate dated the 27th day of February, 1961, given by PLACE AND COMPANY, INC. to the BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY, of the Clty of South Bend, Indiana (with such option being accepted by such Board as of the 27th day of March, 1961), is hereby rescinded, nullified and revoked, and the option herein given and accepted by such Board is in lieu thereof. IN CONSIDERATION of the payment of One (1.00) Dollar and other good and valuable consideration, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the undersigned, PLACE AND COMPANY, INC., herein- after referred to as "Optionor", by its duly authorized Officer, Andrew S. Place, hereby grants and gives to the CITY OF SOUTH BEND, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Optionee", an option to purchase the following described property in the City! of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2, East: Beginning at a point on the North line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, 736.3 feet West of the Northeast corner of the said Southeast Quarter; thence South 230.45 feet parallel to the East line of the Southeast Quarter (East line of Section); thence West 200 feet parallel to the said North line of the said Southeast Quarter; thence North 230.45 feet parallel to the East line of the said South- east Quarter to the North line of the said Southeast Quarter; thence East 200 feet along the said North line to the place of beginning, containing 1.06 acres more or less.
