Wastewater and Engineering recommend that the Board of Public Works award the bid to <br />Polydyne, Inc., both a local manufacturer and domestic supplier of the dry polymer flocculent <br />product. <br />Base Bid(s) submitted ranked as follows: <br />BID SUMMARY – Dry Polymer Flocculent 50 / 55 Lbs. GCI Wastewater Treatment (Carmel, <br />IN) – Incomplete Bid Package <br />40,000 Pounds $1.93 per Pound $77,200.00 <br />2.Polydyne Inc. (Riceboro, Georgia)40,000 Pounds $2.09 per Pound $83,600.00 <br />Bid Award Recommendation: <br />The Division of Wastewater and Division of Engineering recommends the award of the Unit Price <br />Bids for dry polymer flocculent to: <br />Dry Polymer Flocculent 50 / 55 Lbs. Polyethylene Bags <br />Polydyne, Inc. (Riceboro, Georgia) Unit Price: $2.09 per Pound <br />The Division of Wastewater would like to encourage further bench testing in the future with the <br />dry polymer product suppliers in late 2025.
