Owen will <br />keep all stakeholders informed of any project impacts to ensure the project stays on <br />schedule and is completed according to the City’s vision. <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />City of South Bend CE Services for Safe Routes to School <br />at Our Lady of Hungary <br />CLIENT: City of South Bend <br />APPROXIMATE PROJECT COST: $800K <br />The project focused on enhancing sidewalks and curb ramps along key walking routes to <br />schools within the Rum Village neighborhood. Improvements extended westward from Olive <br />Street to Main Street and northward along Ewing Street to Indiana Street. Upgrades at over <br />15 major intersections included the construction of ADA-compliant ramps, adjustments to <br />stormwater systems, and improvements to alley and driveway transitions to ensure safer and <br />more accessible pedestrian crossings. <br />Noble County Bridge No 136 CR 400 E over CSX Railroad <br />CLIENT: Noble County <br />APPROXIMATE PROJECT COST: $6.3M <br />Noble County Bridge No 136 CR 400 E over CSX railroad was opened to traffic on November <br />27, 2024. The existing and very unique three-span truss bridge was replaced with a new <br />prestressed concrete bulb-tee bridge. The project used 60k cubic yards of borrow to <br />construct the new roadway approaches. Construction was completed on time and under <br />budget. United provided the design and construction inspection for Noble County. <br />Noble County Bridge No 44 CR 1050 E over Waldron Lake <br />CLIENT: Noble County <br />APPROXIMATE PROJECT COST: $1.6M <br />Noble County Bridge No 44 CR 1050 E over Waldron Lake was opened to traffic on November <br />19, 2024. A new three span slab bridge was placed and allows boats to navigate from Waldron <br />Lake to Jones Lake. Peat removal with foundation soil improvements were required to <br />construct the new roadway approaches Construction was completed ahead of schedule and <br />under budget.
