The house was <br />built in 1913 at 211 Marion Street. Indiana Landmarks took on the project to move the house because it is one of the city’s best <br />examples of American CraŌ sman architecture. The house was moved into The Chapin Park Local Historic District. <br />PLANNING & COMMUNITY RESOURCES <br />Established in 1973, the Historic PreservaƟ on Commission (HPC) is a joint board serving the City of <br />South Bend and the unincorporated areas of St. Joseph County.
