The plan provides a vision for Downtown South Bend that will unify the urban core from the <br />Renaissance District to Leeper Park. The plan builds upon recent major investments and illustrates new <br />urban neighborhoods, creates an enhanced public domain connecƟ ng the City to the river and provides <br />a strategy to reinvigorate the downtown retail core. <br />During the planning process over 500 residents parƟ cipated in various events including the kickoff <br />speaker series, visioning workshops, and design week.
