REGULAR MEETING O�TOB>r13_1_0� =1988 <br />A public hearing was held on the resolution at this time. Council Member Luecke <br />indicated the Human Resources Committee met on this resolution and recommended it to <br />the Council favorably. Council Member Luecke made a motion to amend the bill by <br />renumbering Section VI to VII and inserting Section VI to read: "The Common Council <br />hereby determines that the property owner is qualified for and is granted personal <br />property tax deduction for a period of five (5) years. ", seconded by Council Member <br />Coleman. The motion carried. Richard Peddycord, attorney, made the presentation <br />for resolution. He indicated this abatement was for personal property that will be <br />used in the newly constructed facility at 2750 Foundation Drive. Council Member <br />Luecke made a motion to adopt this resolution, as amended, seconded by Council <br />Member Coleman. Council Member Coleman made a motion to set this bill <br />for second reading and public hearing October 24, and refer it to the Human <br />Resources Committee, seconded by Council Member Luecke. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 88 -88 A BILL AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2210 <br />WILSON ST., IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion to refer this <br />bill to Area Plan, seconded by Council Member Coleman. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 89 -88 A BILL VACATE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY; THE FIRST 14 <br />FOOT WIDE EAST -WEST ALLEY NORTH OF COLFAX AVE., WEST FROM BRIDGE <br />STREET (VACATED) FOR A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 66 FEET. ALL <br />BEING IN A PART OF THE ORIGINAL PLAT OF THE TOWN OF LOWELL, NOW A <br />PART OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to set this bill <br />for second reading and public hearing October 24, and refer it to the Zoning and <br />Vacation Committee, seconded by Council Member Zakrzewski.
