He indicated this will be a 75 seat restaurant and it will not generate a traffic problem. He filed with the City Clerk, letters in favor of this rezoning from Arthur McElwee, A. E. J. McManus, Keith Corson, Rev. James Riehle, Wm. Starck, Judge John Montgomery, Digger Phelps, Michael Barnes, Dr. Thomas Pulin. Jack Powell, Powell Construction; Thomas Panzica; Charlie Howell, 1118 Dewey; David Wesolski, 56995 Oak Road; spoke in favor of this bill. Joe Guentert, 3510 Corby; Jim McCann, 1209 N. Garland; Shirley Watson, 1113 N. Twyckenham; spoke against this rezoning. Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion to amend Section I, by striking the period after area, and inserting "subject to the attached diagram entitled proposed restaurant., seconded by Council Member Puzzello. The motion failed. Council Member Beck made a motion to recommend this bill to the Council favorably, seconded by Council Member Taylor. The motion carried on a roll call vote of seven ayes and two nays (Council Members Puzzello and Zakrzewski.) There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Council Member Beck made a motion to rise and report to the Council and recess, seconded by Council Member Barcome.
