The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 122 -87 A BILL APPROPRIATING $125,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER <br />BUILDING AND SINKING FUND INTO FUND 38 DEPARTMENT 30 ACCT. #399 <br />OTHER CONTRACTUALS OF THE BUREAU OF WASTEWATER. <br />BILL NO. 123 -87 A BILL APPROPRIATING $47,000.00 FROM CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING <br />AND SINKING FUND INTO FUND 38 DEPARTMENT 33, ACCT. #399 OF THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF SANITATION. <br />This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above bill, proponents <br />and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. John Leszczynski, City <br />Engineer, made the presentation for the bills. He indicated the appropriations <br />would cover expenses for the repair of the Bowman Creek bridge at Fox and St. Joseph <br />streets, and the Riverside Drive sewer project. Joseph Guentert, 3610 Corby, asked <br />if this fund is going to be available in the future, and if there are funds <br />available they should be used for the Waste Water Treatment Plant. John Leszczynski <br />indicated there was $250,000 left in the fund, and this money cannot be used for the <br />Waste Water Treatment Plant. Council Member Beck made a motion to recommend Bill <br />No. 122 -87 to the Council favorably, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The motion <br />carried. Council Member Beck made a motion to recommend Bill No. 123 -87 to the <br />Council favorably, seconded by Council Member Barcome. The motion carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Council <br />Member Taylor made a motion to rise and report to the Council, seconded by Council <br />Member Zakrzewski.
