The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 66 -92 <br />A BILL APPROPRIATING $981,000.00 WITHIN VARIOUS ACCOUNTS OF THE <br />LOCAL ROADS AND STREETS FUND. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to refer this <br />bill to the Public Works Committee and set it for public hearing and second reading <br />on August 24, seconded by Council Member Duda. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 67 -92 A BILL APPROPRIATING $929,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE SEWER <br />BUILDING AND SINKING FUND FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to refer this <br />bill to the Public Works Committee and set it for public hearing and second reading <br />on August 24, seconded by Council Member Duda. The motion carried. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />David Frank, 1733 South Bend Avenue, spoke regarding the widening of State Road 23. <br />He indicated that a five lane road is not needed, and if one is built the <br />businessmen along this road would lose too much frontage. He said if it takes two <br />years to build this road most of the business will be forced to close. He asked the <br />Council Members to support their problem with the State and to attend a meeting <br />residents and business people were having Thursday with representatives of the <br />State. Don Walker, local businessman on State Road 23, spoke regarding the problem <br />of widening State Road 23. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council unfinished or new, <br />Council Member Coleman made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member <br />Zakrzewski.
