The EEE team accomplishes this mission through three priorities: <br /> 1. Promoting meaningful civic engagement; <br /> 2. Removing barriers to opportunities; and <br /> 3. Facilitating community partnerships. <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS <br /> Neighborhood associations continue to be the <br /> backbone of organizing and engaging residents Active South Bend <br /> in South Bend. 2024 saw the creation of one Neighborhood Assocations <br /> new association, Woodlawn, bringing the total • Woodlawn Neighborhood Assoc. <br /> number of associations to 27. EEE staff attend • Linden Legacy Neighborhood Organization <br /> neighborhood association meetings across the Corp. <br /> City on a monthly basis. • Near West Side Neighborhood Org. <br /> • LaSalle Park Neighborhood Alliance <br /> To share resources and neighborhood • Council Oak <br /> information across the City, eleven • Monroe Park Neighborhood Assoc. <br /> Neighborhood Reports were distributed, • Far Northwest Side Neighborhood Assoc. <br /> with a total of over 6,900 views via email. • Miami Village <br /> Neighborhood reports provide neighborhood • Rum Village <br /> updates, upcoming City events, new City • Southeast Organized Area Residents <br /> resources, and other events and resources in • River Park <br /> South Bend in a newsletter-formatted email. • Northeast Neighborhood Council <br /> • Near Northwest Neighborhood <br /> The Neighborhood Toolkit continues to serve • Northshore Triangle <br /> Neighborhood Associations with necessary • Twyckenham Hills <br /> resources, grant opportunities, and tips to • Chapin Park <br /> run and organize a successful Neighborhood • Kennedy Park Neighborhood Assoc. <br /> Association.
