The motion carried. <br />ATTEST: <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk Cha an <br />REGULAR MEETING RECONVENED <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend reconvened in the <br />Council Chambers on the fourth floor of the County -City Building at 8:19 p.m. <br />Council President Niezgodski presiding and eight members present. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8154 -91 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY <br />DESCRIBED AS THE 489.5 ACRES GENERALLY BOUNDED BY OLIVE ROAD <br />ON THE WEST, THE MICHIANA REGIONAL AIRPORT ON THE EAST, U.S. <br />20 ON THE SOUTH, AND OLD CLEVELAND ROAD ON THE NORTH, AND <br />THE 170 ACRES OF PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS A PORTION OF THE TOLL <br />ROAD INDUSTRIAL PARK LOCATED GENERALLY AT THE NORTHWEST <br />CORNER OF NEW CLEVELAND ROAD AND MAPLE /PORTAGE ROADS, IN THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />This bill had third reading. The bill passed by a roll call <br />vote of eight ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8155 -91 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF PORTAGE ROAD AND <br />CLEVELAND ROAD IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to pass this <br />bill, seconded by Council Member Duda. The bill passed by a roll call vote of eight <br />ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8156 -91 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF GRANT AND MAYFLOWER <br />ROADS, SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Slavinskas made a motion to amend this <br />bill, as amended in the Committee of the Whole, seconded by Council Member Coleman. <br />The motion carried. Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion to pass this bill, as <br />amended, seconded by Council Member Coleman. The bill passed by a roll call vote of <br />eight ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8157 -91 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 21, ZONING, <br />OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS <br />AMENDED, BY ADDING NEW SECTIONS 21 -11.1 (b) AND 21 -89.5 TO <br />ALLOW HOSPITALS AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE SERVICE CENTERS <br />IN THE EAST BANK AREA OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AS PERMITTED <br />USES AND TO ESTABLISH THE OFF STREET PARKING SCHEDULE FOR <br />THESE USES. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to pass this <br />bill, seconded by Council Member Luecke. The bill passed by a roll call vote of <br />eight ayes. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8158 -91 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $51,000.00 FROM THE U.S. <br />DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF THE SOUTH BEND HUMAN RIGHTS <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE YEAR <br />BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 22, 1990 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 21, 1991. <br />This bill had third reading. Council Member Luecke made a motion to pass this bill, <br />seconded by Council Member Coleman.
