The City of South Bend is responsible for the Fire Watch of the existing
building & equipment. To our knowledge this isn't necessary as the existing equipment is manned 24/7.
14. Excludes performance bond costs.
15. The start & completion date for this project will be agreed upon by the client & Larson Danielson based on
the requirements for the Construction Design Release, Permitting, Lead Times of Materials, accessibility of
Room 114 & Room 115 & scheduling of the project compiled from subcontractors & vendors. Existing Mitsubishi units & piping to remain as is. As far as the dampers for the Mitsubishi system,
there are none. They are a self-contained unit. The louver you see on the units in the pictures is what
blows the air. That's why they need to be interlocked to the fire alarm system to shut them down when
the alarm goes off. There is no way to put dampers on them. Excludes any work or warranty for
the existing HVAC equipment/systems. Existing thermostats to remain on the wall as is.
24.
