trsi3 .
PROJECT NAME: MADISON LIFESTYLE DISTRICT — PARKING GARAGE CMC RFP
ADDENDUM NO. 1
Date: December 4, 2024
To: All Registered Vendors
From: Theresa Heffner, Clerk of the Board of Public Works
Included herein are questions received, and the City's responses:
On the RFP, it states requirement for Responsible Bidder Checklist — we assumed this is
for bidders that will be part of the construction and not required by the CMc to include in
the proposal. Please confirm.
■ ANSWER: See Page 6 of the RFP. The Responsible Bidder Checklist
would still apply to any portion that the CMc self -performs.
• "Proposingfirms do not need to include the Responsible Bidder
Checklist that is used to comply with the City's Responsible
Bidder Ordinance No. 10594-18. This checklist will, however,
be a part of the bid documents to all 1 st Tier subcontractors
(>$154K). The CMc will also be required to include this
documentation with any work they bid for which they
intend to self -perform."
Has there been any determination what will be required for the site detention?
■ ANSWER: For the entirety of the parcel (everything inside the
sidewalk), 10% of the City's design storm (25-year, 24-hour) must be
held on site via detention. The remainder of the design storm may be
sent to the City's storm sewer system which empties into the St. Joseph
River.
Per the meeting today, there was discussion of adding a signal, will that work fall under
this CMc proposal?
■ ANSWER: The intersection modifications at Main Street and Marion
Street will be a separate design -bid -build project. It will not be the
responsibility of the CMc.
■ is there a geotechnical report available?
■ ANSWER: Attached to this Addendum is the preliminary geotechnical
report. The City is currently pursuing a Phase 1I environmental
assessment and will share those results as soon as they are available.
Version 8/11/2020
