Council Member Kelly <br />reported that the Economic Development Committee had met on this bill and recommended <br />it to the Council favorable. Ernest Szarwark, attorney, made the presentation for <br />the bill. He indicated the store will be expanded adding 12,000 square feet of space <br />which will allow for an increase in the deli, meat and produce areas. He indicated <br />ten new jobs will be created. Phillip Barnett, 730 Cottage Grove, spoke against this <br />abatement. Council Member Kelly made a motion to adopt this resolution, seconded by <br />Council Member Ladewski.
