REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 14, 1994 <br />unused funds from the Ironwood Widening Project would be transferred into this <br />project. Council Member Slavinskas made a motion to amend the bill in the increase <br />section to correct the total to read $210,700, seconded by Council Member Coleman. <br />The motion carried. Joyce Boaler, 1606 Hillsdale, indicated they were taking money <br />away from the Ironwood Project and donating it to the golfers. Mr. Leszczynski <br />indicated this transfer of funds will not delay the Ironwood Project. Council Member <br />Luecke made a motion to recommend this bill to the Council favorable, as amended, <br />seconded by Council Member coleman. The bill passed by a roll call vote of <br />eight ayes. <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2187 -94 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADOPTION OF A DECLARATORY <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS LOT 2 TOLL ROAD <br />INDUSTRIAL PARK PHASE TWO, AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA <br />FOR PURPOSES OF A TEN (10) YEAR REAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT <br />FOR TOLL ROAD INDUSTRIAL PARTNERS II L.P. <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has adopted a <br />Declaratory Resolution designating certain areas within the City as Economic <br />Revitalization Areas for the purpose of tax abatement consideration; and <br />WHEREAS, a Declaratory Resolution designated the area commonly known as Lot 2 Toll <br />Road Industrial Park Phase Two, and which is particularly described as follows: <br />That part of the northeast quarter of Section 21, T. 38 N., R. 2 E., German <br />Township, City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana which is described <br />as: beginning at a point which is S. 88 degrees- 53'01" W., 466.92 ft. from <br />a point on the cast line of said section which is S. 01 degrees- 00'21" E., <br />187.15 ft. from the east quarter post of said section; thence S. 88 <br />degrees- 53'01" W., 463.00 ft.; thence N. 00 degrees- 59' -02" W., 480.00 ft.; <br />thence No. 88 degrees-52'-l-" E., 463.00 ft. to the west line of William <br />Richardson Court; thence along said west line and a 60.00 ft. radius curve <br />to the left an arc distance of 81.35 ft. to the end of a chord which bears <br />S. 39 degrees- 48'56" E. and having a distance of 75.24 ft.; thence S. 52 <br />degrees- 08 " -46" W., 58.98 ft.; thence S. 00 degrees 59'02" E., 386.12 ft. <br />to the point of beginning.
