Council Member Kelly <br />reported that the Community and Economic Development Committee had met on this <br />resolution and recommended it to the Council favorable. Ernest Szarwark, attorney, <br />made the presentation for the resolution. He indicated the petitioner proposed to <br />construct 20,000 square foot additions to existing buildings in order to add <br />manufacturing, warehousing and related office space. He indicated the addition <br />would cost approximately $814,000. Council Member Kelly made a motion to adopt <br />this resolution, seconded by Council Member Slavinskas. The resolution was adopted <br />by a roll call vote of nine eyes. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2051 -94 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND COMMONLY KNOWN AS 2722 TUCKER DRIVE, AN ECONOMIC <br />REVITALIZATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX <br />ABATEMENT FOR STEEL WAREHOUSE CO.
