REGULAR MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 26, 1996 <br />conditions. Dr. Kathleen Newhoff, American Animal Hospital <br />Association, she indicated the City not using with the Humane <br />Society was a step backward. She also asked that the City continue <br />microchipping. Kay Schultz, 59169 Bajor Lane, spoke regarding the <br />benefits of microchipping dogs and cats. Gunner Jensen, 1920 <br />Rockne Dr., spoke against the City handling animal control. Kathy <br />- - Dempsey, Director of Code Enforcement, indicated the City was going <br />to continue microchipping; they do have DNR permits to handle <br />wildlife; have hired 4 people, 2 of which are former Humane Society <br />employees.
