REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 28, 1998 <br />with 134 signatures against this zoning. She indicated a fence <br />is not the answer, it is the amount of footage from the property <br />line. James Reinebold, 19076 State Line Road, indicated he was <br />the County Council Member for this area and he supported the <br />residents in High Meadow Estates. He advised they did not have a <br />problem with "BP" zoning but they do with "D" light industrial. <br />Rich Coddens, 23136 Acacia, spoke against this zoning citing the <br />drainage problems, and indicating they needed a 100' buffer. <br />Lois Hurtle, 52065 Justine, indicated there is a drainage problem <br />and they have culverts that backup. Mrs. Katlun, 23156 Acacia, <br />spoke against zoning. She asked for a 100 foot buffer. Bernard <br />Bower, 23019 Acacia, spoke against this rezoning because of the <br />water table. Council Member Kelly made a motion to recommend <br />this bill to the Council unfavorable, seconded by Council Member <br />Varner. The motion failed on a roll call vote of four ayes and <br />five nays (Council Members Aranowski, Broden, Ujdak, Hosinski, <br />and Sniadecki). Council Member Hosinski made a motion to <br />recommend this bill to the Council favorable, seconded by Council <br />Member Sniadecki. The motion carried on a roll call vote of five <br />ayes and four nays (Council Members Pfeifer, Kelly, Varner, and <br />Coleman). <br />Council Member Kelly made a motion to recess for five minutes, <br />seconded by Council Member Coleman. The motion carried and the <br />meeting was recessed at 11:45 p.m., and reconvened at 11:50 p.m. <br />Council Member Coleman made a motion to rise and report to the <br />Council, seconded by Council Member Kelly.
