Council Member Kelly made a motion <br />to refer this bill to the Public Works and Property Vacation <br />Committee and set it for public hearing and third reading on June <br />22, seconded by Council Member Varner. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 50 -98 A BILL TO TRANSFER $68,291.00 FROM THE EMERGENCY <br />MEDICAL SERVICE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Pfeifer made a motion <br />to refer this bill to the Health and Public Safety Committee and <br />set it for public hearing and third reading on June 22, seconded <br />by Council Member Hosinski. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 51 -98 A BILL OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION, <br />CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS AND EXTENSIONS TO THE CITY'S SEWAGE <br />WORKS, THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF ADDITIONAL REVENUE <br />BONDS TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE <br />COSTS THEREOF, AND THE COLLECTION, SEGREGATION AND <br />DISTRIBUTION OF THE REVENUES OF SUCH SEWAGE WORKS <br />AND OTHER RELATED MATTERS <br />This bill had first reading. The motion carried. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Jim Cierzniak, 1156 E. Victoria, spoke regarding the lack of <br />revenue for the Hall of Fame. <br />Terry Meehan, 126 S.
