<br />EXCEPTION TO PARCEL I
<br />A part of Lots Numbered 67 and 68 as shown on the recorded plat of Clements Studebaker's
<br />Oak Grove Subdivision in the City of South Bend, which part is bounded by a line running
<br />as follows: beginning at a point 35 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Lot Numbered
<br />67; thence running West 36 feet: thence South to the South line of said Lot Numbered 68, .
<br />thence East on said South line 36 feet; thence North to the place of beginning.
<br />PARCEL II
<br />Lots Numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 as shown on he recorded plat of Hosinski's Subdivision of
<br />Lot Numbered 43 in College Grove Addition to the City of South Bend, recorded April 6,
<br />1920 in plat book 10, page 103 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana.
<br />PARCEL III
<br />Lots Numbered 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, inclusive and Lots Numbered 44, 45, 46, 47 and 48
<br />and Lots Lettered A as shown on the recorded plat of College Grove, an addition to the Town
<br />Now City of South Bend.
<br />PARCEL IV
<br />The vacated Grant, Johnson and Brookfield Streets running from the North line of
<br />Washington Avenue and the South line of Orange Street; also the vacated Colfax Avenue
<br />running from the West line of Jackson Street to the West line of Lot 48 in College Grove
<br />Addition extended North; also the vacated alley lying West and adjacent to Lots 1, 2, 3 and
<br />5 Hosinski's Subdivision.
<br />PARCEL V
<br />An easement from ingress and egress in, upon and over the following described real estate:
<br />beginning at a point 4 %2 feet West of the Northeast corner of Lot 30 in College Grove
<br />Addition; thence North on a line parallel to the East line of Lot 30 a distance of 10.00 feet;
<br />thence East on a line parallel with the North lines of Lot 29 and 30 a distance of 105.00 feet;
<br />thence South on a line parallel to the West lot line of Lot 29 a distance of 10.00 feet to a
<br />point on the North line of Lot 29, said point being 37.00 feet East of the Northwest corner
<br />of Lot 29; thence West on and along the North line of Lot 29, extended across vacated
<br />Johnson Street, and the North line of Lot 30, a distance of 105.00 feet to the point of
<br />beginning.
<br />and which has Key Numbers 18- 2003 -0032, 18- 2020 -0590, 18- 2020 -0591, 18- 2020 -0592,
<br />18- 2020 -0596, 18- 2020 -0599, 18- 2020 -0602, 18- 2020 -0605, 18- 2020 -0608, 18- 2020 -0611,
<br />18- 2020 -0618, 18- 2020 -0619, 18- 2020 -0620, as an Economic Revitalization Area; and
<br />WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of a Declaratory Resolution and the public hearing before
<br />the Council has been published pursuant to Indiana code 6- 1.1- 12,1 -2.5; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Council held a public hearing for the purposes of hearing all remonstrances
<br />and objections from interested persons; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the qualifications for an economic revitalization
<br />area have been met.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South
<br />Bend, Indiana, as follows:
<br />SECTION I. The Common Council hereby confirms its Declaratory Resolution designating
<br />the area described herein as an Economic Revitalization Area for the purposes of tax abatement.
<br />Such designation is for Real property tax abatement only and is limited to two (2) calendar years
<br />from the date of adoption of the Declaratory Resolution by the Common Council.
<br />SECTION II. The Common Council hereby determines that the property owner is qualified
<br />for and is granted Real property tax deduction for a period of ten (10) years, and further determines
<br />that the petition complies with Chapter 2, Article 6, of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend
