REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 11-1999 <br />PROSPECT STREET, AND 1801 AND 1805 NORTH <br />ELMER STREET RESIDENTIALLY DISTRESSED <br />AREAS FOR PURPOSES OF A FIVE (5) YEAR <br />RESIDENTIAL REAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT <br />FOR G & M PROPERTIES <br />As the petitioner was not present, Councilmember Ujdak made a motion to continue this bill <br />until the October 25, 1999 meeting of the Council. Councilmember Kelly seconded the motion <br />which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />NOTE: As Mr Urbanski arrived at the meeting, the motion to continue this Resolution was <br />withdrawn and the matter was considered. This Resolution was considered after all other <br />Resolutions on the agenda and is now referred to as Resolution No. 2803 -99. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2195 -99 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADOPTION OF A <br />DECLARATORY RESOLUTION DESIGNATING <br />CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND', INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 3102 <br />WEST SAMPLE STREET TO BE AN ECONOMIC <br />REVITALIZATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF A FIVE <br />(5) YEAR PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT <br />FOR MAVERICK PACKAGING, INC. <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has adopted a <br />Declaratory Resolution designating certain areas within the City as Economic Revitalization <br />Areas for the purpose of tax abatement consideration; and <br />WHEREAS, a Declaratory Resolution designated the area commonly known as 3102 <br />West Sample Street and which is more particularly described as follows: <br />That part of the Northeast quarter of Section 16, T. 37 N., R. 2E., City of South <br />Bend, St. Joseph County, which is described as: From the Northwest Corner of <br />the East half of the Northeast quarter of said Section measure South 90 deg. 00 <br />min. 00 sec.
