REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 23. 1999 <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Mr. Jim Cierzniak, 1156 East Victoria, South Bend, Indiana, submitted to the Council a report <br />reflecting the attendance, admission receipts, average price of admission and marketing costs for the <br />College Football Hall of Fame for the years 1995 through June of 1999. Mr. Cierzniak advised the <br />Council that he received a call from the Wall Street Journal and he has submitted to them some <br />numbers for the Hall of Fame. The article should appear on either Tuesday or Friday of this week. <br />Mr. Cierzniak challenged Councilmembers Kelly and Coleman who originally voted for the bond <br />issue for the Hall of Fame to be tough minded toward the Hall of Fame in the future. <br />Mr. Ken Donnelly, 55657 Fairview, South Bend, Indiana, addressed the Council regarding several <br />matters including the difficulty in restoring a drivers license once it has been physically lost, the new <br />Religious Liberties Act of 1999 which could affect municipal licensing and the requirement of <br />asking for the social security numbers of applicants and his thoughts on the Hall of Fame including <br />his recommendation that the exhibits be change periodically. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Council President Coleman adjourned <br />the meeting at 8:15 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />1�oretta J u a, ity Jerk <br />ATTEST: <br />Sean Coleman, President <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
