BID PROPOSAL GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />General Specifications (25 points) <br />• ASAP Towing always has twenty-one (21) DOT registered recovery units in service. <br />o USDOT — 2102979 IN <br />o MC — 733462 <br />ASAP Towing has a rolling land line at the base station office (1906 S. Olive Street) with a <br />dedicated phone number only given to the City of South Bend/St. Joseph County dispatch <br />center and communicates with each of the drivers via company cell phones. During evening <br />hours when the office is not manned, calls are dispatched by the office answering service as <br />well as a dedicated cell phone manned twenty-four hours a day by the current driver on call. <br />Calls to the main land line office phone are forwarded to the answering service and calls are <br />then dispatched to the drivers via company cell phones. <br />ASAP Towing holds indemnity and liability insurance under U.S. Truck and Trailer Service, Inc., <br />the parent company, of ASAP Towing.
